  1. Matilda this study is quite a few years old; I`ve seen it before. Some of the dates have been redefined, with recent burial finds and better DNA dating, being even older than first thought. Some more than 10,000 years old. Also the more recent study of the Touareg DNA, which proves they are closely related to the Beja people of the Soudan, So genetically they aren`t really Berbers, having split away from their original homeland more than 5,000 years ago, then entering the Berber territories further North and coming under the tutelage of the Berbers. Thus speaking Berber. never the less still very interesting.
