The rock art of Chad at Ennedi Massif .

On the Eastern side of the country on the border with Sudan is where the rock art is to be found, in the middle of nowhere. As rock art goes, it is fairly recent, going right up to the Muslim conquest.

  1. I have long been intrigued by the haunting music from Gauthier Flauder’s documentary on the Ennedi Massif, “The Sahara’s Secret Garden”. The much can be heard by doing a Google search for the film.

I was disappointed to learn that the music was not authentic indigenous music, but rather, music composed for the film by the French musician Benoit Pimot. Does anyone know whether the music was based on some indigenous music?
